Water Damage in San Diego

After the water removal step, your floors and walls may look dry at first glance, but they are still wet to the touch. Most building materials, like drywall and wood, are porous and will retain significant water. The retained water will cause these materials to warp, swell, or break down and can also cause mold damage. SERVPRO of Poway / Rancho Bernardo’s water team began assessing the damage. Using infrared technology and moisture meters, SERVPRO of Poway / Rancho Bernardo’s water team was able to find the cause of this water loss. Following that we got approval from the insurance carrier to remove the damaged flooring and dry the affected area.
